The general rule of thumb is to place one 1 cm wetted newspaper per week away. Also remember NOT to add in fruits that can get acidic in humid and hot conditions, as this will stress your worms! For ease of use, chop a pumpkin or butternut in half, place face-down underneath the newspaper, and leave the worms a glorious treat.

NB! If you are going away over our very hot summers, you might want to consider having your worm sitter at hand, or ask your local worm breeder to look out for your worms.
